I really like the Thanksgiving dinner they have! Been here two years in a row on Thanksgiving and before I could butter my bread the waitress brought out our meals! It was the fastest Thanksgiving dinner I ever had and it was very good! We arrived between 12:30 and 1 and didn't have to wait to be seated and our meals were ready in minutes. Dang I wish every restaurant was like this! Very good turkey dinner!

This restaurant is very much like an Old Time Country Restaurant or one like you might visit in the Smoky Mountains. The service was exemplary and the food was loved by the whole family. I got the country fried steak which was fantastic and my wife got pork chops which she loved as well. Both kids 5 and 2 ate their entire meals without complaint. Prices were reasonable as well. A gem a restaurant in Springfield.

I love this place. The food was amazing and my server was great. She was very young and so kind. I think she said her name was Cass or Cassie. I would absolutely reccomend for anyone. I wish we had one in Chicago.

My husband and I were visiting our son in Springfield and he asked us if we wanted to go out for breakfast, that there was a quaint little mom and pop restaurant down the street that he really liked, so we said "sure." Well, we absolutely loved this little restaurant! The food was great, the staff were all so very friendly, and the atmosphere was great. We will definitely be going here again the next time that we visit my son.

My family and I typically go here every Sunday after church. The staff is so nice and they take great care of us. The food is solid and the service is fast. If you’re wanting to eat healthy, this isn’t your place. :) But if you want a great breakfast or lunch with a very friendly and attentive staff, definitely stop in.

Great place for comfort food. Fantastic service with breakfast options all day. It's located about 1 mlie from Springfield OH's restaurant row -- far enough away that you're not dealing with heavy traffic. Family style interior decor; busy, but our wait for a table took less than 10 minutes. If you're a Bob Evans or Cracker Barrel fan, you'll like Collier's restaurant -- much better choice in my opinion.

Times are always tough for mom and pop businesses, but this month and a half (at least) shutdown has just done us in. This restaurant was my Dad’s dream and he loved it so. I told him before he passed away that we would keep his dream alive and I’m just so upset that I cannot fulfill his dream 😭 I feel like I let him down. This place has become my home where I looked forward to seeing my (work) family and all of our customers that have become great friends of ours over the years. We will surely miss being in all of your lives. I’m sorry that we will not have a place to gather at anymore.Again, I’m so sorry to have to announce this decision but we have no other choice. Went with a group of Sr. Citizens. Good food at good prices, large variety of food to pick from, service good. Very busy place.

This restaurant is a staple in my family. The food is great and the employees are very personable.

There r many people that love this place. Since they started to close @3:00 pm there are many people that cannot get out there on the weekdays at all. Most people do not get off work till after 4:00. They have very good food! Very nice staff too! Inexpensive place to take the family for a home cooked meal.

If this restaurant had a theme it would be "freedom." Freedom from what, I'm not sure. Food was not great, very hardy though, if you're starving, I would recommend it. Definitely a family atmosphere, but the Blue Lives Matter flag that makes up the majority of their decor was off-putting to say the least. Our waitress was very lovely and the service staff very hospitable, but all the patrons were white which was extremely off-putting.

Neighbor likes this place and wanted to take me. Only open until 3 each day. Wait was only 20 minutes. Busy place! Ordered Cheeseburger, Onion Rings and Side Salad. Salad was good. Lettuce cut up small. Just lettuce and croutons. Lots of Onion Rings...Burger a little Dry. His Chicken was good..baked potato and salad.

The atmosphere is cozy, and comfortable. The food is good, but the fried mush was not my favorite. Cheap coffee and pretty decent prices.

The TuesCrew of Ohio TuesDayTrips met at Collier’s Restaurant in Springfield where we devoured eggs, meats, toast, biscuits and gravy, grits and other such breakfast items along with a few cups of coffee. The breakfast was quite good as was the service and we decided a return visit would be in our future. This seems like a good spot for us to meet when heading East on I-70 for some destination. And we get a good breakfast too!

The food was really good. It's definitely a older group of people that dine at Collier's. The service was great. They were busy but we got sat down pretty quickly and got are food really quickly.

I was skeptical of this place but visited after reading so many positive Google reviews. I gotta say I really enjoyed my meal. Look, Eric Ripert isn't in the kitchen splitting culinary atoms but this place is very good at delivering on the classic family favorites. The chicken was fresh, tender, and juicy. The sides good and the pie excellent. I recommend the fried cornbread. It was really good and came out piping hot.The staff was friendly and attentive. The value of the meal was very high: 2 meals (on special), 1 soda, 2 pieces of pie was $23.I really enjoyed this meal and if in the area again would definitely return. With so many chains in the area I recommend giving this place a shot instead.
